Yota's Mobile Services Built into the World's First GSM+Mobile WiMAX Handset HTC MAX 4G

Yota and HTC have announced today the launch of innovative Mobile WiMAX services embodied in the HTC MAX 4G handset.
Yota, the mobile services developer and provider, has brought to life the new Mobile WiMAX-based kinds of communications and entertainment. The new HTC MAX 4G handset, which supports Mobile WiMAX, handles Yota's new services.
Core software: Yota CenterYota Center enables fast access to frequently used applications: software, gaming applications, audio and video playback programs. Yota Center also allows accessing Internet browser and updating installed applications.
Yota offers new media services
Yota VideoHigh data transmission speed coupled with traffic prioritization system (QoS) allows Mobile WiMAX service users to watch movies, videos and TV broadcasts online. HTC MAX 4G features a large hi-res (3.8", 800×480 pixels) display which delivers DVD-quality video viewing experience. Yota Video allows searching online video catalog for favorite movies and playing them at any point. It also allows to make bookmarks and to return to the playback of any episode.
Yota TVNow you can watch your favorite TV broadcasts not only when you are at home. Yota TV service allows watching Sat TV quality TV broadcasts right on the mobile handset's screen. Yota TV provides free access to dozens of popular channels turning HTC MAX 4G into a full-fledged pocket TV set.
Yota MusicYota Music provides access to Yota's catalog of music. Yota Music service allows listening to online music at any moment, without preliminary downloading. Yota Music's collection features hundreds of thousands of licensed records provided by world's largest record labels. It comprises renowned hits as well as rare tracks. You can save your favorite songs to the internal memory of a handset. Yota Music allows searching music catalog by a number of criteria: title, genre and name of an artist.
The media catalog has been provided by media aggregator company More. The catalog is being constantly replenished with new licensed audio and video recordings.
Yota opens up new communication possibilities
Yota PhoneYota Phone application delivers quick phonebook search. Contacts can be searched by initial letter, in transliteration mode or with the numeric keypad. The search is performed through all fields: name, occupation and company name, regardless of the language they were generated and stored in the memory. The application provides synchronization of contacts with the server which means that you will never lose your phonebook.
In addition, the handset is capable of advanced calling features such as auto redialing, call holding and conference calling.
Yap-YapYap-Yap service allows synchronization of contacts with Yota's server, editing contacts online and publishing photos and video recordings on the web site. Yap-yap has streamlined the process of publishing photos. You can upload a photo made by HTC MAX 4G's camera directly to the web site. Also, Yap-Yap is able to store the location data using coordinates received by handset's GPS module.

Yota MaxYota will provide free unlimited Internet access for all НТС MAX 4G customers until March 31, 2009. Yota Max service plan (1400 RUB incl. VAT) will be effective from April 1, 2009.
Yota Max comprises unlimited Internet access (without speed and volume of traffic restrictions) and opportunity to connect two devices simultaneously: HTC MAX 4G and Mobile WiMAX modem (USB modem, PC Express card or notebook with built-in Mobile WiMAX). Yota Max also comprises unlimited access to Yota services, both announced today and those to emerge later.
